EcoSchools!

Since my daughter know's that I am such a greenie she informs me of anything green she sees. Today she showed me her school newsletter which is on this unbleached old school looking paper (which I love!) and there is this section EcoSchools! It details the initiative her school has taken to go green. Here are a few things they talked about: Their waste diversion is at 84% thanks to the ongoing diligent effort in using blue bins for recyclable items, the electricity usage has gone down due to their conscious effort to turn off lights and they have a new system wide initiative Project Shutdown to turn off computers when not in use. I like it I like it alot!
